Originally painted  onto one side of a traffic signal box (TSB) in Toowong in Brisbane in 2012. 

Bimblebox is an 8000 hectare nature refuge in Central Queensland which was - and is still - under threat from Clive Palmer’s China First coal mine.’ 

The TSB was removed in 2013 after it was damaged by a passing vehicle, but not before it was photographed

‘This painting was inspired by the early morning blockades organised by the residents of the Tara Estate, in their fight to stop coal seam gas companies invading and destroying their land. We stood in blockade before dawn, the air was freezing and the mining vehicles would stop in their tracks, lining up in the darkness, headlights blazing at us and our protest signs.
